Allopurinol 100 MG Tablet is an antigout medicine containing Allopurinol. It is used for the treatment of gout (a type of arthritis caused due to the deposition of excess uric acid crystals in the joints). This medicine is also used to treat high uric acid levels in certain types of kidney stones or during cancer treatment. Allopurinol 100 MG Tablet works by lowering the uric acid levels in the blood. Allopurinol 100 MG Tablet may cause side effects like diarrhoea, skin rash, upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, etc. These symptoms usually subside on their own. However, consult your doctor if they persist or worsen. Allopurinol 100 MG Tablet is a prescription medicine. It should be taken after food to avoid stomach discomfort. The dose and duration of treatment will be determined by your doctor based on your condition. Avoid taking more than the prescribed dose of Allopurinol 100 MG Tablet. Allopurinol 100 MG Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems or other health conditions to make sure this medicine is safe for you. It may also affect or get affected by other medications you take, so inform your doctor about all your current medications. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, or are breastfeeding before taking this medicine.

Zyrik 300 Tablet is a medicine used to treat and prevent gout. Gout happens when there is too much uric acid in your body and it forms into crystals that can appear around your joints and kidneys and cause pain. This medicine helps to keep uric acid levels low.

Zyrik 300 Tablet should be taken after food. You should keep taking it as recommended by your doctor even when you are not having a gout attack. If you stop, your symptoms may get worse because more crystals form in your joints and kidneys. You can help yourself by making some changes to your diet and drinking plenty of fluids.

Some of the common side effects of this medicine are rash, nausea, and diarrhea. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these symptoms. Some people may get a severe allergic reaction that needs urgent medical attention. Talk to your doctor straight away if you get symptoms of liver disease including nausea that does not stop, yellowing skin or eyes, or dark urine.

To make sure it is safe for you, before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have or have had heart failure, heart problems, stroke, kidney or liver disease, or thyroid problems. Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Check with your doctor. You will be asked for regular blood tests to check that your liver is working properly.
